In the Rías Baixas region, we make Vionta Albariño, a unique, intricate wine. In our opinion, Vionta is a perfect flavour, a dream come true. The most demanding oenologists and wine experts have acknowledged our work and rewarded us with the Albariño Gold Medal at the International Albariños al Mundo Competition.
This is the second year running that our Albariño has been awarded this prize by the Spanish Wine Tasters’ Union, a travelling exhibition that shows the quality of perfect Albariño wines like Vionta on the main wine markets of the world. The Albariño grape variety, with which we work so hard and so enthusiastically in the Rías Baixas region, is also acknowledged in other countries thanks to its freshness and its bouquet.
This prize joins others awarded to our Vionta Albariño in recent years, such as ‘Best Albariño of the Year’ at the 28th Rías Baixas Albariño Wine Tasting Competition 2015 and the score of 90 points given by the American Wine Enthusiast magazine.
These acknowledgements show us that our efforts are worthwhile. We know we wouldn’t have come this far without the talent of those who make this adventure possible and the inspiration from our vineyards, a place of natural beauty in the heart of the Rías Baixas region.
